A little clarity
Privacy Policy
Effective: October 28, 2026
This policy explains how Jugsy: Water Tracker handles information in the iPhone app, its widgets, its Apple Watch companion, and this website. The publisher is 96 Creative Labs.
1. Water records and settings
Jugsy stores the drinks you enter, their dates and amounts, goals, units, saved bottles and cups, habits, reminder preferences, streaks, earned themes, and milestones on your device. The iPhone app and its widgets share local storage so they can show and update the same records.
Local operation receipts prevent a repeated widget, notification, or Watch action from adding the same drink twice. A receipt also remembers when the five-consecutive-logged-day free limit has been reached. Deleting drink entries does not remove that access-limit receipt or your permanent earned rewards.
2. Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes App Store payments. Jugsy does not receive your full payment-card details. RevenueCat provides subscription status, purchase restoration, product offerings, and access to Pro features.
Jugsy uses an automatically generated RevenueCat app-user identifier rather than requiring an email address or account. RevenueCat receives subscription and transaction information, such as purchase receipts, product identifiers, entitlement and trial status, dates, and related technical app/device and connection information. Its SDK may contact RevenueCat when the app starts or checks products and access, even if you have not purchased a subscription.
Jugsy does not send the contents of your water entries, saved-cup names, or Apple Health samples to RevenueCat. Read RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy for their processing practices. Those providers may process information in countries other than your own.
3. Optional Apple Health export
If you choose to enable it and grant permission, Jugsy writes the water you log to Apple Health. Jugsy does not import water entries from other apps or export additional non-water habits. The Health permission request is limited to writing Water.
Jugsy keeps a local export record to update or delete its own Health exports after you edit or remove an entry. App changes sync after saving when possible; Watch changes sync when your iPhone receives them; widget changes sync the next time Jugsy opens. Permission, device protection, or connectivity may delay a sync.
Turning export off stops new export requests. Entries already in Apple Health remain there, and an in-progress export may finish. You can manage permissions and exported data in the Health app. Jugsy does not use Apple Health samples for advertising or send them to an analytics service.
4. Watch, reminders, Photos, and sharing
The Watch companion exchanges progress, the usual drink, subscription-access status, and logging requests with your paired iPhone through Apple's Watch Connectivity. Unconfirmed drinks stay in a local Watch queue until the iPhone acknowledges them. The iPhone applies the same logging and Pro rules as the app.
Reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your device; Jugsy does not operate a remote reminder push server. You can change or disable them in Jugsy or iOS settings.
When you ask Jugsy to save streak or recap artwork, it requests permission to add the image to Photos. It does not request access to browse your photo library. If you choose to share artwork or an activity summary through the system share sheet, the destination you select receives that export under its own policies.
5. Local activity summaries and diagnostics
Jugsy can keep an on-device activity summary of app opens and successful logging actions to help evaluate routines. You can disable recording or clear that summary in Settings. These counts are not automatically sent to a developer analytics service. Clearing the summary does not delete your drinks.
The app may record operational errors through Apple's device logging facilities to troubleshoot failed storage, reminders, or integrations. If you send a support message, the publisher receives the information and attachments you choose to include.
6. This website
These pages do not set tracking cookies, load advertising pixels, embed external fonts, or collect form submissions. The company hosting the website may process connection information such as IP address, browser information, request times, and server logs to deliver and protect the site. For questions about website hosting logs, contact the publisher below.
Following links to Apple, RevenueCat, or other websites takes you to services governed by their own privacy practices.
7. Storage, retention, and deletion
App records remain on your devices until you remove them or the applicable app data. Device backups and Apple-managed storage may retain copies according to your device settings. Removing Jugsy does not cancel a subscription or automatically remove earlier Apple Health exports, Apple's transaction records, or RevenueCat subscription records.
You can edit or delete drink entries and saved cups in the app, clear the local activity summary, turn off reminders, and revoke Health or Photos permissions. Some non-content records, including access-limit, duplicate-prevention, and earned-reward receipts, remain while app data is retained. Extra cups and habits are preserved when Pro expires, although access may be limited.
Apple and RevenueCat retain subscription information according to their policies and applicable obligations. For questions about information held by the publisher or a subscription-data request, use the contact below. We may need purchase information to identify the relevant record; do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
8. Your choices and rights
You can use Jugsy without creating an account, choose whether to grant optional permissions, and control local activity recording. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other handling of personal information held by the publisher. Contact us to make a request. We do not sell your water records or use them for cross-app advertising.
If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to the publisher, please contact us. App Store age ratings and applicable parental-consent requirements apply.
9. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as Jugsy or its service providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes or new permissions will be communicated as required.
